Rev. Jennifer Martin

Rev Jenna Martin, Lead Pastor

Ordained priest in the Anglican Communion in 2012 and Messenger Fellowship in 2017, Jenna leads Westside Fellowship church with tons of love and the grateful support of this worship community. A native Texan, Jenna’s sermons always convey the never-ending love of God, and the slightest hint of her Texas twang. Also, she loves all things Holy Trinity Montessori, especially the children.

Isaac Gill, Assistant Pastor

Originally from Virginia, Isaac and his wife Megan moved to Nashville 7 years ago. Serving in a diaconate role as assistant pastor, Isaac leads worship, preaches, and loves people.

Isaac has served in various ministry roles throughout his life. Leading worship and hosting small groups with college fellowships like InterVarsity, mentoring youth locally and abroad, working on missional outreach projects with Youth With A Mission and others, and collaborating in creative worship collectives like Common Hymnal, Isaac has always found a home among communities of believers who are focused on serving and loving others.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking from James Madison University in 2009, and since has worked on several documentary film projects advocating for social justice. And like every other person in Nashville, he is also a singer-songwriter.

When he’s not at Westside he can be found trudging through the woods with his two year old daughter, Emilia!

Father Tom Russell, Assisting Priest

Hailing from Washington, D. C. (Yes, he was not born in any of the fifty states of the United States of America), Father Tom is passionate about seeing people grow in their faith by studying the Bible and developing a biblical worldview. He is honored to help lead worship at Westside where he really enjoys preaching, celebrating Communion and providing pastoral care, including home and hospital visits.

During the past 40 years, Father Tom has served as a college professor and pastor at different times and for different institutions and settings. He is a published author (check Amazon.com for his books). After he graduated with a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Father Tom completed a Ph.D. in Church History and Comparative Religions at Vanderbilt University.

Father Tom has been married to his seminary sweetheart, Anne, for 37 years and currently lives in Franklin, TN. He and Anne are the proud parents of Thomas, who is married to Stacey. They live in Mt. Juliet, TN. Father Tom and Anne have one grandchild, Sam, and they are anxiously awaiting a second grandchild, Zoey, next May. Besides traveling worldwide (South and East Africa are favorites), reading about all kinds of history and doing genealogy, Father Tom really loves long strolls on beaches, especially beaches that are on the Atlantic Ocean in Florida (No Gulf beaches please!). He believes that these long beach walks restore his soul.

Father Tom is always up for a good conversation about theology, faith, culture, politics or personal issues over a good cup of coffee. Drop him an email or call him to set this up.
